V Central American Microfinance Conference "Crisis: lessons learned and new strategies" 25th - 27th of August, 2010
The Conference will be held in the City of San José on the 25th, 26th and 27th of August, 2010.
On this occasion, the V Conference will be held in Costa Rica in August 2010 with the important topic of "Crisis: lessons learned and new strategies". It will deepen knowledge and experience that contribute to a responsible financial system, the mission of Microfinance, contribute to poverty reduction.
The Central American Conference on Microfinance, for high quality, has become the most important event of the microfinance industry in the Central American isthmus. The previous editions of the Central American Conferences held in Nicaragua (2002), El Salvador (2004), Honduras (2006) and Guatemala (2008) have achieved together over 1,000 participants, including executives, managers, officials and technical personnel of Microfinance Institutions , suppliers of technical services companies, Government officials, representatives of international financial organizations and international cooperation, consultants and academics, social investors and small businessmen.
